We definitely want to make sure your food stays fresh on the journey to you, so we make every effort to ensure that each box arrives at your doorstep with all meals at the appropriate temperatures. We carefully pack our boxes with insulated liners and frozen gel packs to make sure the meals maintain an appropriate temperature during transit and delivery, and our team regularly assesses the efficacy of our packaging and makes modifications as needed. That said, we do advise that you place all perishable items in the refrigerator immediately upon delivery, understanding that you are receiving temperature-sensitive ingredients. Depending on the season and temperature in your geographic area at the time of delivery, advance planning may be needed to ensure immediate and proper storage of meals prior to consumption.
If your meals do not arrive cool to the touch and at a safe temperature of 40 degrees, please contact Customer Care at SnapCare@SnapKitchen.com. We may ask you to provide pictures showing a food thermometer and the current temperature of your food. If your meals are still cool to the touch, they are able to be consumed.
